TeVii S420 DVB-S Card with Remote

The TeVii S420 DVB-S cards are Linux compatible - if you look at the picture you'll see there's even a little penguin on the box. They will work out of the box in Ubuntu and likely many other distributions. They work with Windows too if you're that way inclined. Great for receiving the New Zealand Freeview broadcast with MythTV or your favourite other PVR application.

The TeVii S420 DVB-S TV tuner turns your computer into a real multimedia player. Simply plugged into an available PCI slot, S420 just needs to be connected to a satellite cable connection and just like that, you're ready to receive many channels in DVB-S standard (Digital Video Broadcasting). It's just that easy to turn your computer into a digital television with a hard drive video recorder and many other exciting features.

The TeVii S420 comes with an infrared remote control and receiver, check out the pictures for more detailed photos of the packaging and remote etc. Note: LIRC support for the remote is currently unknown.

1. The second port you can see on the card is a loop connector which means you can connect a second card or a SKy box etc. without needing to purchase a splitter.
