I ordered an Arduino Duemilanove from Hadley at Nice Gear, then half an hour later changed my mind in favour of the Arduino Starter Kit - absolutely no problem says Hadley and, true to his word, the kit turned up two days (I'm a Rural Delivery) later exactly as advertised.
Yes, I could have saved a couple of dollars buying overseas, but there's no way I could have got the service, and sense of satisfaction at having supported a Kiwi busness, that I gor from dealing with Nicegear.

I highly recommend this organisation and hope it goes from strength to strength.

Nice gear are great.
Definately one of the best online resellers out there.

Site is accurate, informative and no-nonsense.

Every time I've ordered something I've had wicked service and super fast delivery.

Goods have always been in perfect condition and nicely packed.

My first order uncovered a stock error but I was pleased to find a prompt reccomendation for another equally good product - at a better price even.

Super personalised service and some much appreciated header pins thrown in = happy customer.

We recently bought a couple of PC Engines ALIX single board computers - they were a good choice for a small router/ LVS solution we were building. Really easy to deal with, and the gear arrived quicker than I expected. The SPA2102 was up and configured in minutes, and is being used to provide a fax connection to 2talk, and the other channel is connecting a DECT phone to our asterisk system. Worked first time.

I was really impressed by your website - very well done!

My questions were answered at lightning speed after hours.

The price was very good - I cancelled an already placed order at **** to order from you.

The delivery was quick, that's what I really like, and that's why I used to stick to **** even though they might be more expensive than others.

So I am very happy, and I will order again.

The only disappointment is, the range of goods for sale is not as wide as with others. I searched for various items at nicegear after my first order, but couldn't find them. However, be sure I will be checking your website before other ones.

I ordered a piece of equipment (the Linksys SPA8000) which was out of stock at the time. Hadley was very helpful when one of his suppliers decided not to honour the price that it was backordered at, and kept me fully informed as he sought the unit from another supplier. I felt looked after, and it's always nice when the little guy is looked after :)

I am very happy with the two Technisat S-1401 cards I bought. They were natively supported by Linux. MythTv was relatively easy to setup. Now I can record up to 10 Freeview shows at one time (a limit set by software, not the cards). Enough about the cards.

I had no problems with the service from Nice Gear. I ordered on the weekend and it arrived on Tuesday morning. It's also comforting to know Nice Gear has knowledge of what works with Linux.

The Card arrived packed in an antistatic bag and protective wrapping and included basic documentation to assist with getting the device up and running.

nicegear is one of the best online ordering sites I've encountered in a long time. Not only does it look very tidy and effective, everything actually works including PDF downloads of invoices.

To have all of this with helpful pre- and post-sales support, and prompt delivery, is definitely a welcome change from the typical online store.
