Telit EZ10-GPS GSM Modem

The Telit EZ10-GPS GSM terminal is the complete GPS capable GSM modem solution for wireless m2m and mobile applications.

Based on Telit's impressive GM-862-GPS module it inherits the reliability and large feature set of this module including quad band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 reception, 20 channel SiRFStarIII GPS, and an integrated Python script interpreter.

The integrated Python interpreter offers the ability for the customer to run custom programs inside the modem, making it a complete self-contained unit for a variety of applications. Programmable GPIO ports and the IIC-Bus can be used to detect external signals, connect sensors, and to switch external devices.

The EZ10-GPS can also be used as a standard GSM modem connected to a PC via RS-232 serial.

As with all Telit modules, the EZ10-GPS offers jamming detection functionality, which allows the unit to detect GSM communication interference.

Controlled directly by the RS-232 serial interface and offering a wide range of input voltages (5-30 V DC), the EZ10-GPS is a universal solution for all low-volume m2m and mobile data applications.
