Thanks for your comment Mark. You're right that the Linksys ATA configuration can a little tricky - there's just so many options on those little devices.
If anyone needs it feel free to contact me for a copy of the Linksys ATA Administration Guide. At something like 130 pages it's not for the faint of heart but pretty much everything is available in there.
Cheers,

I have 3 analogue PABX systems (3 different sites) and would like to tie them together over our wireless IP network.
Each site is within line of site of each other. I realise that we could use IP based PABX but maybe not just yet.
Could I configure a ATA adaptors or similar to provide trunk lines between these systems, ie converts analogue to IP and back at the other end.
For example - an extension on 1 system could be converted to IP, travel over the IP network then converted back to analogue and finally connected to an incoming trunk on another system.
The reverse could also be employed for comma back the other way.
This may take a few adaptors unless there is a multi trunk adaptors.
Thanks -
The SPA2102 can certainly be used as part of a solution to extend analog lines over IP. I would recommend looking at the ATCOM range of IP PBX units which do a good job of making up the other part of the solution.

Configuring it was fairly simple by updating to latest firmware, and following directions on 2talk's FAQ page.
Had a few issues getting it to work on my network, learned I had to use the WAN port with settings to use my router as the "gateway". Also had to ensure that "remote admin via WAN" was selected as well.
Definitely a product for a technically inclined person, but once working, it's brilliant!
